Looking for something different to check out in London?
Wander down Leinster Gardens in Bayswater, just north of Hyde Park. It looks like all the other streets in the neighbourhood, with beautiful white homes and tall columns lining the pavement.
But when you get to numbers 23 and 24, pay close attention to the windows.
They’re not real! Built in the 1860s to allow proper ventilation for trains, they hid the open section with by continuing the facade of the homes.
I actually went looking for these homes, and missed them! Definitely worth a visit.
