Valencia was the second stop on Olivia & Harriet’s Spanish Adventure. It was completely different to what we’d experienced in Madrid.
We took a train at the crack of dawn (ugh), happy to leave the city that had turned terrifyingly cold on us (well, for a summer-ish vacation). We were greeted again by the balmy 28 degree weather we were hoping for.
Valencia’s historic neighbourhoods are from the medieval period, and they’re quite a sight to see.
We almost missed this city in favour of a longer stay in Barcelona. I’m glad we didn’t.
