I can’t say this is going to be what you’re expecting. My St. Patrick’s Day in Dublin didn’t include drinking too much on a school night, or a face painted green and orange.
However, we wandered into town to see the famous Parade. There were barriers up at many spots which didn’t allow for great viewing. I sat on Charlie’s shoulders for a few minutes and got the photos below. The crowds were massive, and it was funny to see the busiest parts of town completely shut to vehicles, and people milling about everywhere. And it wasn’t just the main street! I’m pretty confident I could have wandered around most of the centre of town without getting hit by a car!
It was a great vibe, but it was still early..
