This week’s photo was taken on my first trip to Edinburgh, Scotland in October, 2012. It was freezing cold, but made for amazing, crisp pictures.
I was standing in the Old Calton Cemetery on Calton Hill, trying to avoid getting my shoes even more dirty in the mud. I hopped a few times to see over a tall wall, and there it was.. the beautiful old city.
Where there are vines sitting on a ledge at the bottom of the photo, that’s actually the top of that wall! I was reaching my arm as high as it would go and snapping away. Glad I got such a great shot!
