Somerset House is the most beautiful location to spend an hour trying to balance like a true Canadian — on skates!
A few of us went down at the end of November for one of London’s favourite Winter events. Somerset House is the prettiest of the locations, but there are at least 10 outdoor ice rinks around town.
The only people who could skate were the ice marshals, the only people who could stand were Canadian, and then there was everyone else. Good fun using leg muscles I forgot existed.
And I didn’t fall!
